Relating to 2015 Admissions is retaking LSAT in December worth it?

Post by LawurmStudent » Mon Oct 12, 2015 6:20 pm

Hi,

So although I've read so much against it I'm graduating this fall with a 3.45 GPA and I don't want to take a year off. I took the LSAT about 10 days ago. I got nervous night before ended up getting three hours of sleep. I pumped myself up pretty well so while I don't think it affected my accuracy but it caused me to go a little bit slower making me actually guess a few questions at the end of all sections. I take the LSAT non-traditionally and take longer on questions but have 95% accuracy in the ones I do answer (I've taken 100 practice tests...). Anyways, I'm pretty confident because of a 4 more guesses than usual I got 160-162. I know if I had more speed I can get higher. I think even as high as 167-8. It seems obvious that it would make sense for me to take it again in December but how will admissions see this. Will it matter just as much? Will they disregard my first score? I should still apply with my 161 per say correct? Then just send my scores?

50% PR is why I think I have a chance at some tops especially if I have a 165+.

Sorry for the many questions, any help would be awesome! :D
