Reusing an LOR from 2010

Post by adozendoughnuts » Wed Oct 07, 2015 3:23 pm

Hello everyone,

I applied to law school in the 2009-2010 cycle and got two fresh letters of recommendation from my undergrad. I decided not to go to law school as the law economy was terrible, I did not like my options in the places I got into, and it was one of the most competitive cycles ever.

In the meantime, I got a master's degree. I plan on having one having at least one recommendation from my master's program.

I was thinking of also using one of the recommendations from the last time my applied with my logic being that it is a fresher take on my undergraduate performance as opposed to asking for a new one 6 years after graduation.

Should I...

A. Get two new letters from my master's program.

B. Use one letter from my master's program and one from the 2010 cycle from an undergrad prof.

C. One letter from my master's program and a new letter from an undergrad prof.

D. Something else entirely.

Thanks!
