High GPA, low/middling LSAT
So I have a GPA that is right at the top, 3.97, but my LSAT is a 163. I'm trying for Duke, UVA, Penn, and NYU, with Duke and NYU as my top two. Are my chances of getting into those schools still realistic? How will the difference between GPA and LSAT affect me?

Re: High GPA, low/middling LSAT
Seriously though, as a near-sticker student at one of those schools (with a good job lined up) I would KILL to be in your position. I had a much worse gpa and a 164 first take (after studying). I came here and people told me I had to retake. I busted my ass and came back with a much better score. 15 multiple choice questions are the difference between hoping you get into one of these schools, and deciding which one you would like to go to for free. It's not gonna be easy, but you are the epitome of the type of person that would thank yourself in the future.

Gotta retake. Of the 4 schools you mentioned, you could easily come up empty handed.
+the sticker price issue, of course.

Thanks, I made it years ago when I realized I'd explained the same thing to so many people. Just stopped using it for a few years. This case was too perfect to bring it back for haha.benwyatt wrote:You need to retake. That LSAT will hurt you.
Edit: scooped and that pic is awesome, clearly
