Question About Transcripts

Post by cerealcereal » Sat Sep 19, 2015 2:09 am

I know I have to get a transcript from each college I've attended, but my question is would it be too risky to try and send my school the transcript form through email/fax versus giving it to them in person? I live about 4 hours from one of the schools I attended. Should I make the drive up there or just call the registrar to work something out? Thanks in advance

Unless you went to a real dump, it's hard for me to imagine that your former school can't handle sending a transcript.

Schools have whole offices devoted to sending transcripts. Some even have a webpage where you can order one. You can call/email/fax.

It should not be an issue if you fax the transcript form or if you email it. You may also call and see what procedures they have available to those who are not within the vicinity. Just make sure to call and follow up to ensure the school has received it.
