financial aid as in need based aid? if so than anywhere you get accepted will offer you need based aid. Merit aid is another story. Anecdotal evidence would suggest it will be tough for you, but the usual advice for urm and splitters is to apply broadly and you might get lucky.JamesTheTurtle wrote:Phil major. Just to be clear - need-based aid usually refers to scholarships given based on financial need, not loans. HYS and a couple of others (Georgetown, I think?) give need-based aid, but 1) there's a cap on what's offered and 2) at most schools if someone doesn't get merit aid, they're looking at loans, which aren't really even need-based, since you can take out up to the cost of your attendance basically regardless of your personal assets. (But yes, almost everyone can get loans to attend, unless they personally have truly abysmal credit.)
