what would happen if I dont turn in part time transcript

Post by yfang12 » Wed Aug 19, 2015 12:44 am

I took 2 classes in a community college during my first year while taking full time at a university , at end of the semester (around final time) I was really sick so the doctor gave me a note to withdraw all of my classes for that semester. I gave the original copy to the university and withdraw all of my class and called the community college also. But I forget to ask for a copy of the medical record from the university to gave it to the community college and I left the U.S for three month because my parents want to home to be hospitalized.

When I get back I totally forget about this and the community college never contacted me asking for anything. Only now (3 years later) I just found out the withdraw process for that quarter in community college never went though and I got 2 F's, and they said I can not resubmit my medical records because they have a 6 month cut off line for afterwards withdraw. So that the 2 F would remain no matter what.

What should I do ? Can I just not turn this transcript in for my Law school application? Because it was just 2 class and since I thought I withdraw it I already took another 2 classes at the university for the credits so I will be graduating with no problem.

What would happen if I don't turn in ?

I think you're screwed. Just suck it up and apply with the GPA you have.

Either turn it in and use an addendum to explain, or go back to the community college and argue your case harder.

You have to include this. LSAC might never figure it out, but you'll have to list the community college on your bar application and the bar will have access to your law school application. Any inconsistency is going to be a massive red flag.

You would almost certainly get away with it.
