Since it's your third take, I'd go ahead and move it to December. You'd still be able to prep, but since you have more time, you won't need the kind of intense prep you would for Oct. I think this is a great opportunity to add to your resume. If your two previous LSAT scores were in the mid 160s, I think this will help you more than getting another similar score. The added months of prep might get you a few more point PLUS adding some worthwhile experience.


If you don't feel that you will have time to prep at all with the new job, and the rest of your resume is good anyway, then go ahead with Oct. I'm leaning Dec, though. You still have plenty of time. If you couldn't take until Feb, my advice would probably be different.
