T14's that favor the LSAT the most/are more number driven?
Wondering if anyone has any insight into which T14's (or schools just outside) favor the LSAT the most? I know the LSAT is generally more important than GPA, but I am wondering which schools put the most weight on the LSAT? Also, do any T14's have a reputation for being more number driven than the others?
LSAT: 170 GPA: 3.7-3.75
Thanks in advance!

In a way, yes. I have definitely checked out mylsn a number of times. I guess I was just wondering if any of the schools had a reputation for strongly favoring the LSAT. Or, am i totally overthinking and should just focus on the mylsn results?

Your results won't deviate much from mylsn because their inherent decisions and biases come through their decisions. Schools like Chicago, Stanford, and Berk, which seem to place more emphasis GPA, give you a smaller probability at getting in which also comes through on the mylsn chart.

Maybe look at schools' 25th percentile/median? You are in a good position to get $$ from many of the T14.lakers3 wrote:In a way, yes. I have definitely checked out mylsn a number of times. When analyzing numbers though, remember that the farther away the year, the less helpful it is. Applicants are way down, and schools have had to adjust and change. I think it's fair to say that 2011-2012 just doesn't apply anymore.

OK, that makes perfect sense. I was just trying to get the most info on which T14's I should apply to the earliest to maximize my chances at admission/money while balancing school rankings. Thanks for your help!KMart wrote:Your results won't deviate much from mylsn because their inherent decisions and biases come through their decisions. I'm happy to change the years, the outcome doesn't change much.

The only thing that I have changed around (other than the numbers) on mylsn that seems to make a significant difference is if i stratify the results to only be applications submitted from Aug to Dec. Earlier applicants with my numbers seem to fare significantly better than the later applicants, which isn't much of a surprise.

If you want T6 with money or HYS, retake. If you're cool with lower T14 with money don't retake. Ez. You should get waivers so apply everywhere. "which school cares about LSAT most" shouldn't matter to you at all.

Unless you got lucky on test day and performed significantly above your PTS, retake.
Just about anyone who can get a 170 can get a 173, and it'd make a world of difference money-wise.
