If it is not on your record then you do not need to bring it up

you are right, my bad. I think it depends on what you were charged with though? or if it was through an actual police department and court or through an honor court at your campus.

Mention it if the application asks for it. Like someone else said, you're going to have to disclose it to C&F at some point anyways so you may as well just mention it to the school and write a quick paragraph about it.

"On x, I was arrested and charged with y. I made a mistake and learned my lesson. I paid the fine, etc. and nothing like this has happened to me since."

Schools aren't going to care about it and neither will C&F. Just disclose and you got nothing to worry about.
