LOR questions

Post by mist4bison » Thu Jul 30, 2015 10:48 am

A couple of questions regarding LORs. My recommenders are asking and I don't really know the answers.

1) Do they need to be/should they be on letterhead?
2) Do they need to be signed, or is typing the name sufficient?

1) Dunno

2) All I can say is that for all the status checkers I've had there's been a box for LoR and a box for whether it was signed. So I'd say yes, it should be signed.

I emailed LSAC and apparently there's no need for signatures or anything if it's submitted electronically. There's not an option to sign electronically, but as long as they follow the link that they're emailed it's fine.
