Character and fitness question

Post by thwolfe » Wed Jul 15, 2015 11:29 pm

HI all -

I wanted to ask about character and fitness. How much do routine infractions blemish an application? I have two "warnings" from sophomore year (not even formal write ups, and it strikes me as silly that they'll be reported at all). One is a noise complaint, another is from being on a roof. For the latter, I talked to the dean of students and he said he'd phrase this as lightly as possible - "being in an unauthorized area" or something more innocuous. Will admissions officers at HYP bat an eyelash at these?

Thanks for your information!

Oops. Never mind.

FWIW is it really trolling if the general sentiment is still correct?

Threads been completely derailed. Can we help the poor kid who's worried about a few inconsequentially irrelevant mistakes he made as a youth or not?

Mack said the schools won't care. He just called out the P in the HYP schools listed. The overarching question was answered: relax OP.

Ha, I missed that. My apologies, Mack, that was invited trolling.

And no, OP, they won't care.
