Wait list questions

I just got an email from Georgetown wait list saying to let them know ASAP if I want a spot. If I say yes to the email am I locked in or can I back out if offered. I love the school just worried about the debt

Georgetown offers need based aid. No, you will not be locked in if you tell Georgetown that you want to attend.
