When I discovered TLS I had my heart set on being a K-JD, going to the local law school because local boomers all went there.
Anyone else been on THESE FORA a while and come to the conclusion that waiting is better? I now almost consider law a prospective second career at this point. Going to look for a job, and explore public policy graduate degree options. What are you guys doing in your non-law school application year(s)?

Went from K-JD to taking a year off to considering taking 2. Spending my time working, networking on local/state level and prepping to get the best score for my 3rd take.

This... Doing that same thing. Have two years of work experience, being laid off at a convenient time (next month) so I'll study for the LSAT and retake in October/possibly in December.Danimals18 wrote:Qutting my job, studying for and retaking the LSAT, improving my score, and getting into a better school with some serious cash monies.

Wait 100%. Law school isn't going anywhere. Live life at least a bit more before putting on the shackles.
