Re: So apparently the LSAC doesn't always count the original attempt for a repeated course.
So you did dual-enrollment? I was under the impression that that basically never counts for your undergrad GPA, which could explain it. I could be wrong about that, though.

I'm still confused as to whether or not LSAC counts every above 100-level college course taken at any and all institutions OR whether they just count courses that applied to your undergraduate degree...

Maybe yours didn't count because you were technically still a high school student and under 18?
Wild guess.

What tls is really saying is they'll take everything on your transcript, which usually includes both retake and latter grade...in this case some school policy did you a solid by putting those as NC. But LSAC still did everything they always do, they took everything on your transcript. Just feel happy feelings.

I mean technically they were counted, they just counted as meaningless nc classes. If you had asked me in advance and given your transcript I'd have came to the same conclusion

That wisdom is only not true because your school policy of revising them to be no credit...as a blanket lsac rule it's true, had they not changed to NC they would have counted. I argue they were "counted" as in not skipped over but actually copied into the spread sheet, and it just doesn't matter because nc... It's like multiplying by 0catchtwenty2 wrote:I'm definitely not complaining—I ended up with a 3.91 when I expected a 3.69. But, when tons of people on here and even multiple LSAC employees vehemently assured me that the courses would be counted—after I thoroughly explained the circumstances—I think it's important to let people know that the common opinion of "original attempts for repeats are always counted" isn't really true. What tls is really saying is they'll take everything on your transcript, which usually includes both retake and latter grade...in this case some school policy did you a solid by putting those as NC.
