Retake for $$?
I scored a 171 on my first take for admissions this year. My PT average (timed, proctored, experimentals, etc.) was 176 -- I scored 176 on the four most recent LSATs in a timed environment.
Will retaking in June significantly impact my chances for $? If I got a 176 in June, could that really turn into more money?

Yes. The amount of the increase depends on how much you increase your scores. The short answer is yes.

It really depends on the school. If you're already over the LSAT median or 75th percentile then you really aren't helping the school in any way and they have no incentive to give you more money.

If you're in this situation you could always (diplomatically) threaten to withdraw and reapply to better schools next year which might get you a bump.Mullens wrote:It really depends on the school. Re: Retake for $$?
I was just gonna make my own thread on this. There's three schools I'd def attend with a full ride, but maybe not with less than 2/3 tuition. I have 1/3 scholly's at two of the three and waiting to hear from the third. My LSAT is right at the median or 1 point above for these schools, so I only need an increase of 2 points to be at 75th or above it, though I'd be shooting for better of course. So my move would be to depo at all three schools and take June
edit: my numbers 166/3.3
