No addendum
Pretty much all the advice on the forums from deans and tlsers say "write an addendum for x" or "write an addendum to explain y". What if someone doesn't write an addendum, would that be considered strange?

Re: No addendum
No, most people don't have an addendum. You would only write one if there's something unusual to explain on your app.
Character and fitness problems usually require one. Other times people may write one if they have a legitimate excuse for a sub-par GPA or if a bomb went off during their LSAT or something like that.
Don't overthink it and don't worry about it.
"Why School X" essays aren't usually referred to as addendums and writing those are a good idea.
