Track Changes
I had always been told to save your resume as a PDF when applying for jobs so that the recruiter could not just use Word to turn on "track changes". When submitting your documents on LSAC, this is not an option because it does not accept PDFs. Has anyone heard of admissions being able to see the changes you make on your documents, or do they just get PDFs from LSAC?

Re: Track Changes
It's simple to avoid it. Just accept all chances and don't have track changes on in word when you save. What they mean is that some people accidentally leave track changes in their resume. Just don't do that and it isn't an issue.cutieluby wrote:I had always been told to save your resume as a PDF when applying for jobs so that the recruiter could not just use Word to turn on "track changes". Re: Track Changes
Something here does not make sense. The files are converted into PDF format, which obviously strips the document of "track changes " coding.Wahrheit wrote:They can see the changes. Just disable it and save a different copy.

I thought LSAT received the document you see when you click "preview application." If they are only receiving PDFs, then the comments are either outdated or refer to things emailed in (LOCIs etc.)

Re: Track Changes
ironically, I saved my very nicely formatted resume as a PDF and there was no way I could convert it back to word. I converted it into a high-res jpg and inserted/saved it on a blank word document. It turned out good when I previewed it. This is a terrible way to do it (than just have a native word resume), but could eliminate your track changes issue. (I never use track changes)
