If you apply to NYU via LSAC do you need to send anything (certification?) directly through the school?
How do you get your nyu application status check username?
Appreciate the help.

Re: NYU Application - Other than LSAC?
i'm a student at nyu.
I received my username and password to the status check shortly after applying.
If accepted, you get access to the admitted students website and to the financial aid portal (FAAPS?).
There's info on there about what you need to provide directly to nyu, which does include a dean's certification.
But until you get accepted all you need to do is through LSAC.

If you have a C&F issue you may need to submit the Dean's certificate with your application. I know I had to for NYU, Columbia, and Cornell.Tomasz wrote:which does include a dean's certification.

I think you mean the certification referred to in LSAC's confirmation e-mail. If you had a fee waiver or paid the application fee online then you don't have to mail anything in.girllovesgoldfish wrote:If you apply to NYU via LSAC do you need to send anything (certification?) directly through the school?

NYU will send you the user name for the status checker by e-mail automatically. I got mine the day after applying but this could vary.
There is a class of 2018 applications thread in the Acceptances/Denials/Waitlists forum that'd be the best place for these sorts of questions.
