Re: Temple vs. Penn
This has been discussed on here before, you should search some old threads.
The way those jobs go, there's probably no definitive answer. They also aren't easy jobs to get.
I think a Penn student would definitely be at an advantage because so few of them stay in the philly market, and because prestige. But who knows. I'd certainly like my chances more coming from penn than temple. I'm from philly so I understand that temple has a great reputation here, but its still not even close.

All things equal, it's hard to imagine a situation where a Penn grad wouldn't be favored over a Temple grad. If you're looking at 200k debt from Penn and 0 debt from Temple and want to do low-level PI, Temple seems like a no brainer.

Just to throw an additional wrinkle in there- Penn has a TollRAP loan forgiveness program that you should consider.NYCFAN1 wrote:All things equal, it's hard to imagine a situation where a Penn grad wouldn't be favored over a Temple grad. You've got a 40% chance that you'll be flipping burgers. Keep in mind that even the lowest rung of jobs are hard to acquire if you go to a school like Temple. The supply of lawyers still overwhelms the demand.
