Applying in consecutive cycles

Post by jewkidontheblock » Wed Dec 31, 2014 11:24 am

I realize it's late in the cycle, but I've been thinking about getting a few applications out in case I decide I don't want to take another year off. I've been reading mixed things on whether or not schools will hold it against students who decline an offer of admission and apply again the following year. Does anyone have any insight on this? Looking mostly at middle-low T14.

Speaking from experience, they do not seem to care. For YP-heavy schools, you might consider writing an addendum succinctly explaining why you declined, then reapplied, but I doubt it matters that much.
