send updated resume?
If I've already been complete for 2-3 weeks at some schools, is it worth emailing them an updated resume? My status checker at about 4-5 schools says I'm under review so would they even look at updates at this point? I submitted in late october/ early november
edit- the update would be for a new internship

Re: send updated resume?
Are you a k-jd? If so, you should probably withdraw your applications and update them in 2 years with a resume that has some full time work experience on it.
As to your actual question, it probably won't make a big difference either way, but if its some super legit internship, go ahead and update it.

Re: send updated resume?
is it worth doing this if i'm near a school's medians? or will sending a resume update simply delay my file for months?

Re: send updated resume?
is planning for a LOCI a good idea? wouldn't it be better to try to do everything i can to prevent being put on the waitlist in the first place?

Also is there any hard evidence that updating your application delays your file?

Re: send updated resume?
I am not asking about a LOCI. I'm asking if sending an update to my file will delay review of my application thereby lowering my chances of admission. it's a very straightforward question.Dirigo wrote:Because the answer is the same.

You're showing the same neuroticism in all three threads. You were told you wait.supersplittysplitter wrote:I am not asking about a LOCI. Update if you wish, but honestly you have the potential to be a nightmare for adcoms and your file moved to the intolerable aspie pile.

Re: send updated resume?
I said you had the potential. You seem to pick a new thing to want to update every week.
Fine, do it. There is little to no value added by this internship you just started, but if you'll feel less anxious then have at it.
I know it's hard, but enjoy the holidays and don't take every week of a decision not being rendered as a call for you to update.
