Am I screwed? (c&f issue)
Long story short I was just arrested for PI. Never in my life have I been arrested before and a lawyer I talked to said that I really shouldn't have been arrested in the first place. (This might get dropped since my state's laws on PI just changed)
Anyway, what do I do? I already applied to schools, but do I need to tell them about this?

nah you're fine. had the same issue. just tell C&F about it and update your school profile once you start at school. Didn't have to do an interview or anything.

Okay. I'm kjd and when I update my transcript for fall grades it might say "probation....etc" depending on if my university takes action.

Well being a K-JD is your first problem. You should probably take a year or two to get work experience.90convoy wrote:Okay. I'm kjd and when I update my transcript for fall grades it might say "probation....etc" depending on if my university takes action.

Any work experience that I'd have would not be worth it. My degree doesn't allow for many options

See if the applications have continuous reporting obligations and update the schools if they do. The schools won't care, C&F won't care as long as you report.

So I take this as youre too lazy to look for a job so applying to law school is the easier route.90convoy wrote:Any work experience that I'd have would not be worth it. My degree doesn't allow for many options

I dont trust people who are too dumb or stubborn to take good advice.90convoy wrote:no I'm not trust me. And also I do not want to dive into the kjd discussion right now. So I'm lazy, dumb, and/or stubborn because I decided to go to law school right after undergrad? Just leave, your reasoning skills are terrible and you probably suck as a person.
Also, I thanked you for your advice anyway lol

Re: Am I screwed? (c&f issue)
He's not wrong. You're probably fine for schools this year. But you really should go get a job for a year or two. And don't say your degree makes it hard to get a job because I was a poli sci major. So you're full of shit. Especially if you have from now until May until you graduate. You're just lazy.90convoy wrote:So I'm lazy, dumb, and/or stubborn because I decided to go to law school right after undergrad? The level of ignorance here is so high its scary. Don't tell me I'm lazy when I've worked and paid most of way through school. Stop assuming, you know nothing about me or my life.

Re: Am I screwed? (c&f issue)
Your life story isnt a factor in our advice. Work experience is a huge boost to hiring. Also you can save money or not even enter law school. So I don't know why you call that ignorance. You know nothing about law school or legal hiring. Sounds like you're the ignorant one.90convoy wrote:The level of ignorance here is so high its scary. Yes, full time work experience would help me, everyone including myself understands that. Thank you for your advice, but that is not the route I'm taking. By your logic every k-jd is lazy and dumb? Get a grip man and stop being an asshole

I just saw you're AA. You'll be fine. But it doesn't affect the soundness of the advice.90convoy wrote:Yes, full time work experience would help me, everyone including myself understands that. So you acknowledge that doing something would help you, yet refuse to do it, and you don't consider that dumb or stubborn? What an asshole I am for giving you advice that you acknowledge is good.90convoy wrote:Yes, full time work experience would help me, everyone including myself understands that. you seem like kind of an ass hat but no the PI won't really hurt you; in fact, two of my fellow 1Ls have gotten PIs at bar review this year. Everybody is doing it.90convoy wrote:Yes, full time work experience would help me, everyone including myself understands that. Thank you for your advice, but that is not the route I'm taking. That's all well and good but you were supposed to double major in something that would allow you to get a job. Did you miss that memo?90convoy wrote:philosophyBrut wrote:what degree do you have90convoy wrote:Any work experience that I'd have would not be worth it. My degree doesn't allow for many options
