SUbmit applications... or wait to retake LSAT

Post by BULLSHARK6 » Tue Nov 04, 2014 6:50 pm

First time poster here. Submitted my Early Decision application to UT. I wanted to meet the deadline but am considering retaking the LSAT to boost my score. Should I wait to submit my applications until after the retake, or should I submit and allow the score to update automatically? With rolling admissions I am really focussed on getting the applications in early. My personal statement and LORs are killer and I have a good feeling I can swing acceptance.

I appreciate any and all assistance.

Is that full GI Bill? If so, awesome.

And schools won't look at your app until your retake score comes in, so the whole bump from early admissions doesn't apply here. I would definitely retake though. A 159 is pretty weak--especially for UT.
I would personally wait until I get my new score back to save money on apps through fee waivers and not applying to schools that are out of my range.
