Re: This Cycle, Next Cycle, What Cycle?
Honestly, you are in a pretty nice position right now.
You're average is around 161 and that's with an average of -10 in LG?
Getting -0 in LG takes about a month tops. Others would love to be in your position right now. It is easily the most learnable section of the test.
Usually if you're -10+ away from your target goal a month before the test, the advice is always to take the test later. But seeing that it is LG you're having difficulty with, 170 by December is doable. However, of course taking more time to study is always beneficial.

I think you can pull your LG's up in time for the December test, so just keep working at it and see if you are where you want to be when the test gets closer. Now as far as your study habit goes, please do not take 22 PTs in 30 days, this is not a good strategy for the test at all. First off you learn more drilling and reviewing then taking actual tests, at that rate you can't fully understand your results and you'll just be wasting PTs. Also, you will burn out on that schedule, I honestly think burning out kills more people than nerves on LSAT day. You have to get away from the LSAT every once in a while, I just scored my highest PT to date after taking a couple weeks off following the Sept. test. Relax, study LG hard, take 2-3 pts a week if you can handle it, and kill the December test. You aren't in a bad situation and you'll do great if you work at it. Also, entering law school at 26 isn't a huge deal, law school won't be going anywhere anytime soon! Best of luck!
