Should I contact the schools I applied to?

Post by WichitaShocker » Wed Oct 29, 2014 4:10 pm

I applied to law school for the first time while I was in my last semester of college so the transcript I submitted for my application showed my Spring classes as "In Progress". I submitted a new final transcript in August of this year, and LSAC had it fully processed. However, this morning I was contacted by one of the schools I applied to and asked to submit my final transcript with my Spring classes. I called LSAC, and they said that my summary report was updated to reflect my spring classes, but they neglected to scan my new transcript, and will now do so and send it to the schools I applied to. I told the school that requested my final transcript this, and they said that it was not a problem.

I would not be worried, but another school just contacted me asking for a final transcript, and I'm wondering if I should just proactively contact each school and let them know the situation. I should add that I have already been accepted to two school, so it can't be that big of a deal.

How much of your time will it take you to do so? Just do it. It won't hurt you.
