I'm in China atm, but I want to fly to the US in January to knock out interviews. However, I want to send my apps in before Thanksgiving. Would it be possible for me to request that I interview on a specific date in a specific city? It sounds like the school is the one who schedules interviews after you request it.

Pretty much all law school interviews are conducted over Skype, or will at least have a Skype option. After you submit, if you get invited to interview, you will be able to choose a timeslot to schedule your interview, but you are generally limited in your selection to within the following two weeks or so.

This has been my experience with UVA and UChicago. Northwestern does let you select a time/date more at your discretion.

Northwestern does Skype interviews as well, if you have a compelling reason for requesting one.

done all my interviews over Skype no problem. some schools will even make more time slots available to you to get around the time difference. pm if you want details.
