Advantages & Disadvantages to Applying Without an LSAT Score

Post by zxbn579 » Fri Oct 24, 2014 4:03 pm

I am taking the LSAT for the first time this December. Thus, I obviously have no record of scores on my account.

I have all the other components of my application ready. Should I go ahead and submit some time in November, or wait until after I get my results? In other words, what happens to an application received without an official LSAT score? Do they just throw it away in a the pile of every other incomplete and newly arriving applications, or does the act of submitting earlier fast forward the process a little as at least they could see the applicant's name/GPA/credentials?

It won't be considered complete until you have an LSAT score. I don't think LSAC even allows you to send in applications until your LSAT is on file. Don't worry about applying in December, make sure you have everything ready to go, and send the applications in as soon as you get your score and you'll be just fine.
