Advice on addendum

Post by Jordanrex30 » Wed Oct 22, 2014 8:03 pm

My question is that my freshman year I really screwed up. 2.9 GPA. Just had no clue what I was doing, no goals, motivation, etc. The problem is going into my jr. year I was considering the medical field which I bombed. I had an advisor place me in an advanced physiology class and a chemistry class and I got killed in both. I'm just wondering how I could use an addendum to my benefit. Obviously freshman year is the big one. But could I talk about that and the couple classes I took as a jr? Since then my major GPA and overall has been good. About a 3.65 if those two things were taken out.

Don't write that addendum, it sounds immature. You had a bad freshman year, that isn't uncommon and they can figure it out from your transcript.

Just focus on getting your GPA above 3.0, it'll make things easier.
