Soliciting Fee Waivers

How exactly is this done?

Is there any negative to trying? Should I only try if I'm about their 75 percentile LSAT and GPA?

It varies by school, but it doesn't hurt to ask as long as you are professional.

You don't wanna come across as uninformed, but it's worth a shot. HYS are need-only (also UT). Otherwise, if you've got one number at or above median, I think you're fine to ask. Just do it nicely.
