Feb Vs. Dec LSAT and admissions
I am currently debating between taking the Feb or the Dec LSAT. I just received my dismal score of 157 for the Sept LSAT. I am planning on applying to USD, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, UCLA, USC, Hastings, Colorado- Boulder, Northeastern, and Davis. My GPA is a 3.58 with some decent softs.. Should I take LSAT in Dec or in Feb? I know that by february if I start busting my ass now I can hit 170.. I took the June 14 PT untimed and was at a 167 so I KNOW I can do this. But, I also know that the Feb test is extremely late in the cycle.. I would really like to go next Fall and don't want to take any more than a semester off (Spring 15) between undergrad and law. Any advice would help!

I am actually in similar boat as you and I am applying to some of the same schools actually. I think you might have a good chance with some of the schools like USD with your currents numbers but I don't know honestly I am facing the same predicament. i am personally leaning towards December right now just to be safe but have considered Feb as well. You can always apply and then let the schools know that you are taking the LSATs in Feb just incase too.kwabbs wrote:I am currently debating between taking the Feb or the Dec LSAT. That's my plan.. I think I'll have the most opportunity to score well in Feb so I've decided on taking the Feb LSAT. If I end up with like a 170 + then I may sit out the cycle but if I get like a 165 then I'll stick with what i've got and go next year.
