Well, my September LSAT did not go as well as hoped (I was pulling for a 167+). Prior to receiving my score, I planned on targeting the lower T14 - NU, Cornell, and Michigan. As it sits now, LSP puts my chances at these schools as a remote outside shot.
My plan is to retake in December, since I was PTing higher than this score. I will submit my applications now once my LOR come in, and update my applications once I get my December score. I used mylsn.info to gauge my chances at these schools now, and the results were fairly inconclusive. So I turn to the collective hive-mind/wisdom of TLS: with my current numbers, do I stand any chance of admission to these schools? I am considering applying ED to Cornell/Michigan, if this would help at all.
Thanks for your time, and best of luck to those who are applying.

Don't ED any school with those numbers. You'll pay sticker and be looking at $300k of debt unless you're independently wealthy. Also, a retake could yield very good results for you in the T14 if you can push your score to median+.Octavius wrote:Well, my September LSAT did not go as well as hoped (I was pulling for a 167+). People here won't be able to assess your chances any better than mylsn can
Don't ED, sticker debt is unjustifiable. Just keep retaking until you can get in for a reasonable price

Alright, fair enough. Thank you both for the advice, I was just a bit discouraged. Time to put my nose to the grindstone for December!

You can do it, I took the dumb test 3 times and went from low 160s to high 160s. If you use the resources here and have a structured plan you can definitely squeeze out 5+ more points. 164 is a good score, you're obviously smart and good at the test, just have to shore up your weaknesses.
