Titles on "Why X" Optional Essays? Forum

Does anyone know if they want us to title these sort of documents? I know Duke mentions it on their "optional essay instructions," but do they mean in the document or when you add the file through lsac?

any input would be helpful.

I think it's a good idea to put "Optional Essay" or whatever that component of the application is called on the LSAC site for that school in the header of the document, along with your name and LSAC ID number, just as you should with your PS. Can't hurt, and will certainly be appreciated by the reader who inevitably drops a few files on the floor. If you're asking about an actual title, as though it's an article or something, I think that's unnecessary.
