Application/PS Consultants... your thoughts?

Post by Quick Silver » Sat Oct 18, 2014 11:27 pm

I was thinking of hiring a consultant to review my Personal Statement and Application Overall.

I'm considering the following services:

Ivey/Blueprint

Powerscore

StratusPrep

What are your thoughts? Anyone have experience with these companies or reviews?

Are there other companies as well that anyone recommends?

If you're dead set on hiring an admissions consultant, go with Spivey Consulting. Their team is active on TLS and top notch. I've heard great things.

Don't do it. LS admissions is almost strictly numbers. An amazing PS might get you into schools that are reaches, but that requires you have an amazing background already. Applying early would help your app more than a PS consultant.
