Hello TLSers. Would appreciate input on my situation.
International here. After getting waitlisted for two cycles I've decided to go home and send in my app one last time. I sent my apps in on the first day it opened (for each school). It's an exact replica of my app last year which I sent in January.
The thing is, a few days later I was offered a position to teach a new course in my country's most prestigious university. The end goal would be to start our very own biomedical engineering department (I have a degree from Boston University). Now that the paperwork is done I'm officially a college professor, at least for one semester. Further, I am going to be part of a consortium to bring biomedical engineering to the attention of my country's universities.
It's pretty awesome, but I'm wondering how to let my schools know this. Input?
