Quick background:
Adopted at birth (fresh out da womb).
Birth mother: Caucasian female, under 17
Birth father: unknown
Parents: White adoptive mother, Filipino adoptive father
Parents divorce when I'm 1. I live with father, who had to move in with his brother and his parents (my adoptive grandparents), until my dad moves out on his own. My grandma is named my legal guardian, and I live with my grandparents/uncle until I'm about 13 and start middle school, when I move back in with my dad.
I was raised in an ethnically Filipino first-generation family, learned to understand Tagalog (I suck at speaking it though, but can understand it pretty well when reading/spoken to), but am as white as they come (blonde/blue). I identify with a lot of my familial history (being raised Catholic, cooking and eating the foods, helping on the farm, etc), but not sure which of these might constitute my diversity.
I consdier myself a unique case, but personal biases aside, what about adopted individuals? Adopted individuals in non-traditional families? Adopted individuals raised in a different racial/ethnic environment (majority race member in a minority household)?

white boy adopted and raised in a Filipino family

If diversity means more than simply skin color, I have no reservations that your situation is pretty diverse.
