Hi everybody,
It's that time of year where we (LST) have an immense need for your help. If you want to give back to the pre-law community, this is a great way.
We have two opportunities right now. For the first, I need 1-2 people for about 12 hours of work total. For the second, I need 3-5 people for about 40 hours of work total. This one cannot be done in a single setting, but would likely be spread out across 3/4 bursts of time (2-3 hours).
(1) We're producing a podcast that profiles legal professionals in a variety of jobs and practice areas. Each episode focuses on one person -- from their day-to-day activities to what they love and hate about their job.
Accompanying each episode will be a short post about the episode. We're not looking for a transcription, but a summary with several good quotes that will increase the chances that a reader will become a listener. I also want to include useful links for listeners who want to learn more about the person or practice area. If we can find a suitable picture of the guest, we'll include that too. I am flexible on what the end product looks like. I just want to the writing to be accessible and light.
In order to help, you will need to listen to the program. You'll be the second person to hear these episodes fully cut.
If you're interested, please send me a PM. I need to know you can write this style, so please find some way to show me you fit the bill. A short writing sample (essay, blog you write, a good post from TLS) is the likely the best bet, but I'm open. The only thing I don't want is for you to spend a lot of time. That's not fair to you.
(2) We're updating the Score Reports to include the latest data, specifically the data we collected from law schools during our latest request for NALP reports. We have about 100 to enter, and each takes anywhere from 15-25 minutes. I have an interface you'll use for data entry, which requires your screen size be somewhat large -- at least 1200px wide.
If you want to help with this, just send me a PM. I'll need your email address and the user name you use on LST. (If you don't have one, you should create one, particularly because there are really useful tools available with an account.)
Thanks!
Kyle

Need 2 more for data, any takers? Starting very soon. Would make things go much faster to have 2 more people, which translates into 1000s of people having more data.
