Post by lsatisevil7 » Wed Oct 01, 2014 8:51 pm

Seriously, how are you guys dealing with this..? Imagine if it was in the mail, then I could go only refresh once per day..

The more you check, the lower your score will be. No joke.

It's seriously tough. Imagining the moment my score is actually in the little box is like it was imagining actually taking the LSAT--unbelievable.

I'm willing to bet you're about 5 foot 3, 120 pounds soaking wet and you play dungeons and dragons.

I literally didn't check it once. They will email you when the score is available. Also, the scores aren't published until (usually) a few days before it says anyway. There's really no use in killing yourself over it.

Please stop spewing hate in my thread. I got the help I needed I suppose. I was looking for some more 'active' recommendations, but I get the drift. Thanks.

Of similar relevance and FYI, and I'm not kidding, law schools can tell how many times a day you check their status checkers. I think someone at GULC last year checked over 1,200 one day.

1,200 in a day is insane in the membrane

Can confirm what Spivey said, I had a good conversation with an admissions dean last year and he/she told me they can see how many times you check. Specifically said it doesn't matter to them though (barring extraordinary circumstances like the 1,200 one mentioned above).

Go enjoy your life while you still can.

Once your enveloped in law school, fun time is over for at least two years.

That is at least until you make it or you drop out.

If you're on a Mac, I recommend SelfControl (it's an app).
http://selfcontrolapp.com

It's what I use to keep myself from using the interwebs during class for any non-productive reasons. You can set the duration and there is almost nothing you can do to turn it off once you set it.
