Apply before retake? Forum

I just took the September LSAT. First take. I'm fairly sure I'm going to have to retake in December because i had a SNAFU on one of the sections. Anyway, should I just apply to the schools that my LSAT median is already good enough for? OR should I delay all apps until December score or what?

I think I scored in the mid 160's. I have a 3.9x and am shooting for tls's

I thought the 3.9 and the fact that I'm retaking a mid 160 would suggest that I'm talking about harvard on down. So that.

Wait for your score to come out. 165ish isn't high enough for many of the tippy top law schools. Plan on a retake to improve your chances.
But since "Harvard on down" is inclusive of everything but Yale, I think you'll be fine sending out your Florida Coastal app now. Goodluck!
