Any JD/MA Econ graduates care to share their experiences in their program (school, curriculum, etc.), and their experiences in the job market?
Thanks

Re: JD/MA Econ Dual Degree Heros
I was in a PhD program quite a while before law school and left with my MA in Econ. I can't comment on dual programs, but graduate-level economics is extremely quantitative, so more than anything a strong foundation in math is pretty much indispensable (most schools require at least through multi-variable calculus since that's essential to first-year courses).
There is a very strong economics component to the "rationale" behind a lot of legal principles/doctrine, so if nothing else it will give you a different way of looking at things.

Somewhat related, but Greg Mankiw started law school and a PhD program (both at Harvard) before dropping out of law school after three semesters. He talks about his experiences and compares the two a fair amount here:

He'll also post on the subject from time to time on his blog- usually some decent insights.
