academic summary report vs. transcript?

Post by cavalier2015 » Mon Sep 22, 2014 12:11 pm

i'm sorry if this is a dumb question but when schools look at your grades do they look at the academic summary report to see grade trends or inspect your transcripts for grade trends?

also, when a school says their application must be received by a certain date (i.e: for ED deadlines) -- does that application only entail the application through LSAC or does that entail the LOR as well?

They're mainly just concerned with what the GPA is. If you write an addendum explaining a bad semester, they may look for an upward trend after that.

I believe they mean your completed app, including LORs.
