Reapplicants and Fee Waivers

Post by FloridaCoastalorbust » Fri Sep 12, 2014 1:14 pm

For reapplicants, it may be useful to know that, unless you manually change your matriculation year at LSAC.org, many schools will not offer you fee waivers.

For example, I did receive several waivers (NYU, Penn) but did not receive several waivers that other similar-stat applicants did (Duke, Cornell, Michigan).

I solicited a waiver from Duke. They were happy to provide one and their adcomm explained that they were aware of my existence and stats through LSAC's CRS but, due to my matriculation year being out of date, they did not offer one.

So change your matriculation year and prophit.

How do you change your matriculation date? I'm registered for Sept. LSAT and have received a couple waivers already so I'm not sure if this is an issue for me or not.
