Re: Cooley PEP Program
If someone is involved (for lack of a better word) enough to make a LSN profile, surely they would be involved enough to stumble upon blog & forums about what a scam Cooley is. Furthermore, if someone cares enough to make a LSN profile, surely they'd care enough to study and retake.
Then again, maybe I'm putting too much faith in people.

I think you do - browse around on LSN after you set your LSAT search parameter to "120-145". (Don't do this if you are already feeling sad, though.)Dirigo wrote: Then again, maybe I'm putting too much faith in people.

Maybe they don't have enough money to retake the LSAT. Not everyone is as privileged as you.Dirigo wrote:If someone is involved (for lack of a better word) enough to make a LSN profile, surely they would be involved enough to stumble upon blog & forums about what a scam Cooley is. I just don't understand how someone could score under a 150 on the LSAT and not realize that they will probably never be able to pass the bar.

I know. I just think it's shameful and that the ABA should yank their accreditation.

Re: Cooley PEP Program
I never should have started browsing LSN.
This person last year was accepted to SIX SCHOOLS with a 2.5/140....

She even negotiated scholarship money from the schools.

To fully appreciate this ocean of sadness, note that deans of unaccredited schools appear to track down applicants with horrific numbers: http://lawschoolnumbers.com/taclawwhitespider wrote:I never should have started browsing LSN.

At least they're not ABA-approved.

To me that comes across as straight up insulting. How would it not? "You're right at the cutoff of the bottom quartile, and that's just the caliber of student who we're looking for."

MCL's dean has a big thread on TLS. He's kind of a fuckwad.hereisonehand wrote:To fully appreciate this ocean of sadness, note that deans of unaccredited schools appear to track down applicants with horrific numbers: http://lawschoolnumbers.com/taclawwhitespider wrote:I never should have started browsing LSN.
