Hold for future LSAT

Post by should-i-do-it » Thu Sep 04, 2014 11:27 am

I put down that I'm retaking in sept on some apps I sent in already. Checked status checker and one of the says "hold for future LSAT". Now I'm a bit worried. What would the negative effects be of not improving/doing worse. I was hoping the school would admit me with $$$ before my score came out

Some may not consider your application complete until the new LSAT comes in. You can always just call and ask them.

Would it look weird if I asked them to go ahead and consider it complete/make a decision before the new lsat?

I'd just ask the policy, don't be a gunner before starting school.

Yes, you can do that. But it doesn't matter -- almost no school will make a decision (for anyone) before the Sept. scores are out.

Another school just did this. Say my score drops, could that be used as an excuse to offer less $$$ or does it usually not matter. We're not talking about T14's or anything
