Question for other re-applicants

Post by Gucci Mane » Wed Sep 03, 2014 9:17 pm

How can I let LSAC and law schools know of my intent to apply again this cycle? I have changed my information on their website accordingly, yet I have not received any law school advertisements or fee waivers.

Same problem here. I emailed LSAC about but I'm waiting on a response. I read something that if you update information that gets sent to schools (eg transcript or new lsat score) then you'll get back on the lists

Under profile->CRS->CRS preferences, though I changed it a few weeks ago and it hasn't worked for me. I'll try resending LSAC my transcript and see what it does.

Interesting, I was a re-applicant and I never stopped getting spammed by schools, with a few good schools thrown in as well. I think all I really did in the periods where I wasn't registered for a future LSAT was log in from time to time and keep CRS activated.

I was hoping the updated transcript would do the trick, but so far no luck after roughly two weeks. I changed the expected entry into law school date today, hopefully that will spark something.

Is there anything specific one must do to keep CRS activated? Or are you saying that logging in was what kept it active? Sry!

Oh I honestly have no idea, what I meant was that I just always kept it checked, or turned on, or whatever it is (been awhile since I've been to that page). I wasn't actively doing anything other than logging in from time to time just to look at stuff like Forums, etc. I didn't turn off CRS until I decided on a school and after that things died off pretty quickly.
