Hi all.
I'm getting my apps ready for this cycle and have a question re: schools like UVA and Chicago. I already have a really strong diversity statement that I'm planning to submit as an addendum to schools that don't explicitly request one. Would it be excessive to submit a second addendum in the form of a "Why X School" essays? I'm willing to write them if it would be helpful...but I also don't want to seem as if I'm blasting the admissions officers with tons of extra material...
thoughts appreciated!

no it wouldn't. They serve different purposes, especially if the DS is not directed at a particular school
