Would being a published fiction author as a 24-year-old applicant be helpful for a law school application?

Professionally published eBook turned print book. Profitable venture. Equivalent to work work experience?sublime wrote:Self published ebook or actual published?
And it probably is a stronger soft, may help on the margins, but don't expect anything drastic.

Your LSAT and GPA matter about 10x more than anything else aside from winning a Nobel Prize.

Probably meaningless, unless you're Elizabeth Wurtzel or something. Then you can cop Yale with a 160. If you're not a literal bestseller like that, I'd suggest worrying about the LSAT instead.

I would think yes, similar to a somewhat unique soft. Although with the usual caveat that without LSAT/GPA it's irrelevant.gatesome wrote:Would being a published fiction author as a 24-year-old applicant be helpful for a law school application?
