Science background - what should I put on my resume? Forum

Hello hello,

So I was pre-med in undergrad, and upon graduating I started working in a lab thinking it would boost my med school apps. Problem is, I really started liking law last year and now I'm all in for applying this cycle.

So my question is, how should I orient my resume? I have all these specific research projects in my resume and publications. Should I just dumb down my description of my job and emphasize the volunteer/community service section? Also what about publications... I was very productive in my current 13 months in surgical research (8 accepted Pubmed publications and 3 more in review) - should I bother listing all of these?

If anyone could shed some light, or has been through the same situation that would be awesome.

All that matters is your undergrad GPA and LSAT. You're special with a science background but not that unique. There are scientists, engineers, and software coders in every class. Your resume is not going to make or break anything with regard to the application process.
