Extending deferrals at HYS?

Post by El_Bee_Oh » Sat Jul 26, 2014 6:07 pm

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to extend a two-year deferral at one of these schools? I'm a year into my deferral and recently came across an opportunity that would require me to push back law school for an additional two years (for a total of four years). I know I still want to go to law school, but this is the kind of thing that comes along once in a life time and I really can't pass it up. Thoughts?

I don't know a thing but if it's that great it'll make you more likely to be accepted when you reapply so who cares?

My LSAT score will have expired and I really don't want to have to go through the rigmarole of having to take it again.

Might as well ask. They already accepted you, all they can say is no.

Definitely ask. If your score is expired, though, I wonder if they'd be able to report it?
