How to list study abroad as a degree granting institution?

Post by Penguin515 » Fri Jul 18, 2014 2:21 pm

Hello All,

I did a study abroad program in Sweden during my junior year that was sponsored by Hamilton College (I did not attend Hamilton College). I was wondering what the proper way to add it to the "other institution" form would be? Thanks

Who provides the transcript?

Ordinarily, study abroad appears on the transcript provided by your undergraduate institution and does not need to be separately listed.

Thanks, I called LSAC and they said that I should just list it under Hamilton College (The transcript provider). The reason I called is that my UG does not list the actual grades that I received abroad. Do you think they will factor into my LSAC Cum GPA in this instance?

If Hamilton College provides a transcript with grades, yes
