Yes, you should retake.

In terms of timing, the first few weeks of undergrad classes are usually pretty light on actual assignments, so I wouldn't worry too much about balancing studying with schoolwork for the September test.

stop crying about your score. 170 is a really good score, better than most. but yeah retaking isn't gonna hurt so do it once, if not twice, more. Also, why are you rushing to go to law school? Shit sucks. You should get a job in the real world before jumping back in. Gain some perspective, help for OCI, make money, party, travel, etc.

Yes, retake in September. 170 3.85 KJD != HYS.

I doubt you get into any of HYS without retaking or getting your GPA over HYS medians.

If your score goes down it might actually hurt. With that said you probably need a higher LSAT to get into HYS.
